"When someone's at their lowest and if someone comes in with some great quality food, it's just an uplifting spirit to give somebody something," he explains.This time, the call for help came from Spencer and the surrounding areas, which faced historic flooding at the end of June. Fairley and about eight of his employees immediately began preparing to provide as many meals as possible to those in need. "To me, my whole life growing up has always been about doing something for others and I just inherited that. It's just what I love to do," he says.
