Growing up in Southern California, the iconic concert venue has long been a source of inspiration for Lacey, who has had the privilege of witnessing esteemed artists grace its stage. "From a young age, I've been fortunate enough to attend performances at this iconic venue, witnessing esteemed artists like Itzhak Perlman and Hilary Hahn. It was truly an honor and privilege to perform on this same stage."

A Prestigious Scholarship and Artistic Development

Lacey's triumph in the Spotlight Competition has not only brought her recognition but also a ,000 scholarship, which she is deeply grateful for as she prepares for the next chapter of her academic and artistic journey. "The scholarship provided to us by the generous donors is also deeply appreciated, especially as I begin working on college applications and auditions this next school year," she says. The Spotlight Competition has also served as valuable practice for Lacey, as she navigates the rigorous process of college auditions. "The Spotlight Competition was also very good practice for college auditions because there were several stages over many months we had to undergo including a video audition, and then two live rounds of auditions before we were named grand prize finalists."

I am really grateful for her investment in our school programs and in our community."
