Balsamic-Dried Cherry Salad Toss
Ingredients

8 cup torn mixed salad greens

1 medium red onion, halved and thinly sliced

1 cup dried tart cherries, chopped

1 cup toasted pecans, chopped

¼ cup olive oil

3 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce

1 ½ teaspoon Dijon-style mustard

1 teaspoon honey

¼ teaspoon black pepper

Shaved Parmesan cheese (optional)
Directions

In an extra-large bowl toss together mixed greens, onion, dried cherries, and pecans.

For dressing, in a small bowl whisk together next six ingredients (through pepper).

Pour dressing over greens mixture; toss to coat. If desired, top with cheese.
