Looking for an easy Halloween dessert that's sure to be a hit? Meet our favorite shortcut recipe. This brownie pie is topped with chopped candy bars and drizzled with chocolate sauce. If you'd like, add crunch with a handful of chopped nuts. This is a great dessert for bringing to Halloween parties and potlucks.

How to Customize Halloween Brownie Pizza

Here are a few of our favorite ideas for dressing up this brownie dessert.

  • Instead of chopped candy bars, top the brownie with caramel and toasted pecans.
  • Skip the candy, and top the baked brownie pie with sliced strawberries and chocolate sauce.
  • Not a fan of nuts? Leave them off and add chocolate candies or white chocolate chips.
  • For a bit of salty-sweet flavor, top the pie with crushed pretzels alongside the candy.

Ingredients

  • 1 package fudge brownie mix

  • ½ cup finely chopped nuts such as walnut, pecans or peanuts

  • 1 ½ cup assorted cut-up candy

  • Chocolate sauce, optional

Directions

  1. Prepare Mix

Grease a 12-inch pizza pan. Prepare brownie mix according to package directions, stirring in nuts.

  2. Add Candy

Carefully spread batter into prepared pan. Bake in a 350 degree F oven for 15 minutes or until edges are set. Sprinkle partially baked brownie with candy and nuts, if desired. Return to oven. Bake 5 to 8 minutes more or until a wooden toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. To serve, cut into wedges. Makes 16 servings.
