Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • cup sugar

  • 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder

  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • ½ cup milk

  • 2 tablespoon butter, melted

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • ½ cup water

  • ½ cup sugar

  • 1 16 ounce pkg. frozen sliced peaches

  • 2 cup frozen raspberries

  • Dulce de leche ice cream (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. In a medium bowl stir together the first five ingredients (through salt). Add milk, butter, and vanilla; stir just until combined. Set batter aside.

  2. In an oven-safe 4- to 5-qt. pot combine water and the 1/2 cup sugar Cook and stir over medium-high heat until sugar dissolves. Pour into a glass measuring cup and set aside. Add peaches and berries to the pot; Spread batter evenly over fruit (may not completely cover fruit). Drizzle sugar-water over batter.

  3. Bake, uncovered, 1 hour 15 minutes minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool slightly. Serve warm. If desired, top with ice cream.
